Stay unwritten, stay unknown You won't let anyone write themselves into the pages of your heart You've erased all meaning of any feeling felt What pages are left are yours and yours alone Yet you wonder why no one can read you We can't read what isn't there cus you've left your pages bare and clear There's a lifetime of living written on your face Dispite all the smiles that you've used to erase them Those memories, feeling and times you've got locked up haven't been forgotten Sure we can't read you, but you've read the pages of your life more times than you can remember Don't give yourself another reason to rip out your precious pages If you'd open yourself up and leave a page for me I promise I'll write a little message in you that you won't soon forget I'll leave you filled with more than just words So let me write myself into the bare and clear pages of your mind and heart So that you'll be able to read from the pages of someone elses heart Hopefully that will light the spark that will make you want to write an entry Into the many deeply layered pages of your quiet waiting heart Don't forget to keep a pen handy Life is constantly being written all around you |
