20 julio Rain or Shine Photo ShootYesterday I had the pleasure of taking part in a photo shoot for TOportfolio. The 1st shoot was on a trampoline, that in itself was a work out. The 2nd shoot was in a fire escape which was cut short by a thunderstorm. Oddly enough instead of packing up and calling it a day we decided to go out into the rain and thank God we did because we got some great shots. After the rain settled I changed into another outfit and we did another shoot in the street. All in all it was a great shoot and the "bad" weather turned out to be good for us. I'll upload the photos if/when I get them from TOportfolio along with permission to show them. So a special thanks goes out to CJ Cromwell (of TOportfolio) and Tony (of TonyTran Photography) for the awesome photo shoot yesterday. 15 julio Which Bleach Character Am I?14 julio Kenna Says Goodbye To LoveHere's another leaked track from Kenna's upcoming sophomore album "Make Sure They See My Face". While the album is being co-produced by Chad Hugo, this particular track was produced by Pharrell and to me has that classic "Neptunes" feel to it, albeit it's more "electronic" sounding to suit Kenna. Let's face it, the Canadian rap scene has been on a weak tip since...forever. If you think about it, the only "rap" acts that have made it big over here have been from "alternative" rap artists such as K-OS and Swollen Members. And by big, i mean big only in Canada. The reason being Canada is flooded with "underground emceez" who are too generic and too boring to make any major moves, same goes for the mainstream artists (Belly?).
